Sunglasses for general use

Field of use
– These sunglasses protect against the risk to the damage to the eyes due to exposure to sunlight (other than during observation of the sun)
– These sunglasses comply with the essential health and safety requirements set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and meet the EN ISO 12312-1:2013 and EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015 harmonized standards

Limitations of use
This product is:
– Not for direct observation of the sun or for viewing of solar eclipses.
– Not for protection against artificial light sources (e.g. solaria).
– Not for use as eye protection against mechanical impacts hazards, during which the sunglasses could break, causing injury to the face and eyes.
– Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night
– Not suitable for driving at night or under conditions of dull light.
– Sensitivity to light and glare, especially in cases of bright sunlight and strong sun glare, such as on snowfields, at the beach or at sea, varies from one person to another but it must be considered that the lightest filters, categories 0 and 1, reduce solar radiation only slightly in the visual field whilst guaranteeing excellent protection in the UV area.

Storage and Maintenance
– When not in use or when carrying them around, store the sunglasses in their case at a temperature between -10°C and +35°C.
– Keep away from direct sunlight and avoid exposure to high temperatures, such as the heat in a car without conditioning (e.g. car dashboard), because high temperatures may alter the features of the glasses.
– Replace the sun filters if damaged (e.g. scratched, opaque). Use only original accessories and spare parts.

Cleaning
– Use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean the glasses, then dry them with a soft, clean cloth.
– Do not use solvents (e.g. alcohol, acetone) or aggressive detergents which may alter the features of the glasses.

Marking
– The category number on the outside of the package corresponds to the filter category, as defined by European standard EN ISO 12312-1 and outlined in the table above.
– The presence of the letter “P” in your QR card indicates that the lens is polarized.

Campo d’impiego
– Questi occhiali da sole proteggono dal rischio di lesioni oculari dovute all’esposizione alla luce del sole (diverse dalle lesioni dovute all’osservazione del sole).
– Questi occhiali da sole sono conformi ai requisiti essenziali di salute e di sicurezza applicabili previsti dal Regolamento (UE) 2016/425 e alle norme armonizzate EN ISO 12312-1:2013 e EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015

Limitazioni d’impiego
– Non destinati all’osservazione diretta del sole o di eclissi solari
– Non destinati alla protezione contro sorgenti di luce artificiale (es. solaria)
– Non destinati alla protezione degli occhi contro pericoli di impatti meccanici. In caso di impatto gli occhiali stessi possono rompersi causando ferite al viso e agli occhi.
– Non idonei alla guida al crepuscolo o di notte.
– Non idonei alla guida di notte o in condizioni di scarsa visibilità.
– Le sensibilità alla luce e all’abbagliamento, soprattutto in condizioni di elevata luminosità, come sulla neve, sulla spiaggia o in mare aperto, sono variabili da persona a persona ma si deve considerare che i filtri più chiari, categorie 0 e 1, riducono in misura minore la radiazione solare nel visibile, pur garantendo un’ottima protezione nella regione UV.

Conservazione
– Quando non in uso e durante il trasporto gli occhiali da sole vanno conservati nella custodia originale ad una temperatura compresa tra i -10°C e +35°C.
– Evitare l’esposizione al sole in ambienti chiusi non condizionati (es. cruscotto dell’auto) perché le temperature che si raggiungono in queste condizioni possono danneggiare la funzionalità dell’occhiale.
– In caso di usura (es. graffi, opacità) dei filtri solari si consiglia si sostituirli con ricambi originali.

Pulizia
– Utilizzare un panno umido e un normale detergente neutro e asciugare con un panno morbido pulito.
– Evitare l’impiego di solventi (es. alcol e acetone) e detergenti chimici aggressivi che possono compromettere la funzionalità dell’occhiale.

Marcatura
– Il numero della categoria che compare sull'esterno della confezione corrisponde alla categoria di filtro, così come definita dalla EN ISO 12312-1 e riportata nella soprastante tabella.
– Se sul cartoncino contenente il QR code è riportata una “P” significa che la lente è polarizzante.
